On 160- 6m the rig is a Elecraft K3S driving an Elecraft KPA1500. On 630m the K3S transverter port drives a 100w K5DNL solid state PA. For 2m, and 432 MHz I use an Icom IC-9100. And on 222 MHz I use a Down East Microwave 222-28 transverter driving a 100w solid state PA with the IF radio being a Kenwood TS2000. Here is a diagram of how all the equipment is configured.
The K3S uses the optional K3EXREF and a Geppetto Electronics GPSDO (OCXO) as its frequency reference to achieve a stability of +/- 0.1ppb. Admittently this may be a little bit overkill but GPSDOs have become very affordable and can be helpful when participating in the ARRL Frequency Measuring Test (FMT).
